Even if I wanted to pretend, I couldn't say that photography is all I do. It is my love. It is a passion. But, the truth is...
I. am. creative.
If I had to sum myself up in a mere three words that phrase would do it. I love photography, crafting, painting, repurposing furniture, writing, sewing, perusing thrift stores, antiquing and any subcategory of the aforementioned. My mind needs constant stimulation and creative outlets do just that for me.
I am the mother to an absolutely precious baby girl; Avalynn Dolores. She has totally captivated me and ignited my creativity in a way I never thought possible. She's a true gift from God and our miracle baby. Born with a rare Congenital Heart Defect, our girl is defying odds every day, which pushes me to be better in every way, shape and form possible.
My husband who is my best friend and just so happens to wear a uniform for the United States Marine Corps is the absolute love of my life. For now, the Marine Corps has placed us on the East Coast, more specifically, at Jacksonville, North Carolina, home of Camp Lejeune. We recently completed a Recruiting Duty Billet in Clarksville, Tennessee, and I have to say, it was extremely bittersweet leaving my clientele there. Military families on both the East Coast and in Tennessee (Fort Campbell) have been so gracious and accepting of me and I couldn't be more grateful for that. I know the struggles that these families face. I understand the absolute sadness of being at home, alone and away from the one you love while he protects our freedoms abroad.
I understand the sacrifices that you make and I appreciate them.
Life is a book that you write. You choose what your next page will read. When my life on this earth is over and people review my "book" I want to leave an impression; some sort of mark on those I love. And, if that mark is through my art, the way I express myself; well, then I'd say I accomplished just what I set out to do.
Everything I do, I do for Jesus Christ. You'll see it in every aspect of my business and in every facet of my life. I am unapologetic for being so deeply in love with my Savior because I know that all of the good things I have come from Him.
I look forward to meeting you, knowing you, capturing all of your special moments and becoming lifelong friends with you. Some of the most beautiful people I've ever met have stood on the opposite side of my lens at one time or another. Until we meet...
