I always get nervous before photo sessions. I don't know what it is. I guess I could call it "preparedness." I've always heard that, if you're nervous, you're on your game. This is reassuring since, nervousness can also come across as a feeling of inadequacy.
But, the most nervous that I ever become is when I take pictures of fellow photographers! How nerve racking!
Ryley is a dear, sweet friend of mine and owner of RAB Photography and I was so excited when she asked me to take some photos of her little family of four (which she recently announced will soon be a family of five); especially when I learned it would be on her family's farm! It is GORGEOUS out there. Breathtaking light and greenery, winding drive, picket fence: the works.
My nerves were immediately put at ease when I arrived. Ryley is such a sweet friend of mine who's always willing to help out in any way so I should have known that the session would be relaxed and comfortable. In turn, I got some of my favorite images of all time. Golden, sunflared, light goodness and cheesy grins from two of the cutest kiddos ever. Not to mention, Ryley and Josh are this killer gorgeous couple.
Thank you Barber family for letting me spend the afternoon with you and for letting me capture a few images of your perfect, little family.
